Refund Policy
Last updated: 2 September 2026.
Before work starts
You can cancel for a full refund at any time before a translator or interpreter is assigned and work begins.
Work in progress (document services)
Once a translator has been assigned and briefed, cancellation is pro-rata: you pay for the portion of the work completed, and the remainder is refunded. A minimum charge of 25% applies once a translator has been assigned and briefed, even if work has barely started.
Sworn / certified translation
Once your sworn translator has signed and stamped the translation, the order is non-refundable — the certified document has been produced and cannot be "un-produced."
Delivered work
We don't offer a refund simply because you've changed your mind after delivery. If you find a genuine translation error, we will correct or re-do the affected work free of charge if you report it within 14 days of delivery; if the error can't be remedied, we'll issue a proportionate refund instead.
Interpreting bookings
72 hours or more before the booking: free cancellation.
48–72 hours before: 50% of the booking fee is retained.
Less than 48 hours before, or a no-show: the full booking fee is retained.
Rescheduling: free once, if requested 72 hours or more before the original booking.
Consumer right of withdrawal (Spain/EU)
If you're a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007. If you ask us to start work immediately (inside that 14-day window), you expressly consent to performance starting right away and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service is fully performed; partial performance is charged proportionately. Checkout captures this consent explicitly at the review step.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 14 days of the refund being agreed.
