The practice.

A boutique translation and interpreting practice in Las Lagunas de Mijas, working to the standard Spanish authorities, notaries, clinics and law firms actually require.

Who we are

Translatesens sits deliberately between two poles: the informal local translator with no visible credentials or pricing, and the national agency platform that buries a single accredited translator under a wall of badges and a quote-request form. We publish our prices and our credentials up front, and let you buy the exact service you need — no gatekeeper in between.

"You know exactly what you're getting, what it costs, and who is legally entitled to produce it — before you commit."

What "MAEC-appointed" actually means.

In Spain, only translators formally appointed by the Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores, Unión Europea y Cooperación (MAEC), via its Oficina de Interpretación de Lenguas, are legally entitled to produce a traducción jurada — a sworn translation bearing an official stamp and signature that Spanish notaries, civil registries, courts and public bodies recognise as legally valid. It's a government-conferred professional status, not a marketing label. Sworn translations at Translatesens are produced by a MAEC-appointed sworn translator.

Sworn translations: MAEC-appointed sworn translator.

This is the accreditation Spanish authorities require for a translation to carry legal force; acceptance of any specific document remains at the receiving body's discretion.

Every document you send us — a passport, a medical record, a contract — is handled under GDPR, seen only by the translator working on your order, and never shared beyond what the order requires. We say this here, and again at the point you're about to send us something, not only in a policy page.
